Hey all,
As we continue to observe an increase in censorship on Telegram it has become an Operational Security risk for vendors and the community.
Telegram moderators and admins are actively deleting messages from our chat and banning users. As a result, we have decided to migrate the UGL OZ Community to the Matrix.org network. Matrix is fully open source and federated which means the network is completely decentralised and channels are migrated through all servers within the federation. If you get banned from one network, you can simply switch to one of the hundreds of others and rejoin the community.
Please join us in in the new community by following these simple steps:
1) Download the Element client from here (full support for mobile and desktop clients): https://element.io/download
2) Join the UGL OZ Community channel here: https://matrix.to/#/#ugloz:matrix.org
If you don't already have an account, you can create one through the Element client. Once you've downloaded the app and created the account, simply click the UGL OZ community link above (in step 2) and you'll be good to go.
